Coeur de Lion, Calvados Selection
It is elegant and distinguished: livelier, dryer, and less complex than a Pays d'Auge, with a powerful, fruity bouquet. Produced in the heart of Domfrontais -- excellent for cooking and cocktails. Calvados from Domfront can be drunk young. In this region, pear trees do better than apples, so many pears are used in the local Calvados, to a minimum of 30%. There is a 3 year minimum aging requirement, setting this Calvados apart.
