Elio Grasso

The Elio Grasso estate has a mere 14 hectares of vineyards in the Langhe hill country near Alba. The goal, in the family's winemaking, is to reflect the imprint that each vineyard leaves on the traditional varietals grown there—each has a uniue personality. 

The Grassos consider themselves, first, grape farmers, and second, as wine producers.  This is an attitude adopted by several Langhe producers, whose respect for the fruit produced on their small, remarkable parcel of land, is evident in every bottle of unique and memorable wine.
