Married couple Andrea Marchiori and Paul Barraud, the winemakers behind Paul Hobbs’ much celebrated Viña Cobos, are onto something new. While they continue to be the driving force behind the now famous wines of Viña Cobos, they have created two new wines under their own names that are sure to generate just as much excitement. Using grapes from their Marchiori vineyards, this famed winemaking duo has created a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Malbec under the name Marchiori & Barraud. As much a celebration of their collaboration as a couple as of the famous vineyards themselves, both wines reflect the care and craftsmanship of seasoned experts. With only 200 cases of each produced, what little is available in the United States is well worth seeking out
