Shinas Estate

Shinas Estate

Shinas Estate is situated in the northwest region of Victoria, a region known for its Mediterranean-like climate, classic wines and great food. The first vines were planted in the region in 1886, and by 1898, vine planting commenced on the estate. With eight generations of grape-growing and wine-producing experience, as well as his passion for perfection, George Shinas  produces premium hand-crafted wine. Currently there are three wines in the Shinas Estate portfolio: the "Guilty" Shiraz,  the "Innocent" Viognier, and the "Verdict" Cabernet Sauvignon. The names for the wines come from owner George's career as a judge in his hometown of Mildura.

Shinas Estate Wines minimizes irrigation of the vineyard, which reduces cropping levels and enhances fruit quality.
The fruit is left on the vines long beyond traditional periods, allowing the intense flavours that characterise the wine to develop. In true boutique style, only the highest quality fruit is selected for harvest. Barrel-aged, the Guilty has a concentrated aroma of mature fruit and French oak, and flavours that are full, rich and rewarding.
