Tenuta La Cipressaia

Cipressaia is located in the outskirts of Firenze, in the Colli Fiorentini DOCG; the 20-Ha estate's vineyards are planted with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes, for the most part.

The winery takes advantage of the agronomic as well as enological consulting provided by Matura & Co., supervised by well-regarded agronomist Attilio Pagli.

Besides Chianti DOCG and Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG, Cipressaia also produces a SuperTuscan wine, Toscana IGT Borgoricco, a full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. Decanter  recently rated the 2004 Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG 4 stars.
