Terramore

The Terramore project is the result of a joint venture between Feudo San Martino and Nerida Abbott.
Feudo San Martino is a farm located in an important estate of around 200 Ha (494 Acres)  on the charming hills surrounding the City of Caltanissetta, on the south side of the mount Gesso, dominating the Salso river valley.

The outstanding landscapes transmit, to the visitors, a sense of complete and serene plunge into this uncontaminated Mediterranean habitat’s corner, where past and present melts together with great respect of each other.
Nerida Abbott is a well-known Australian oenologist and researcher. She expanded her experience in the Mediterranean areas. Nerida worked in Spain first; then, since 1996, in Languedoc, southern France. The vineyards occupies 30 Ha (74 Acres) of the Feudo San Martino farm. Nero d’Avola is the main grape grown, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are the
other varietals grown. The production is limited to 2 Kg per vine. The wines are fermented in stainless steel and lightly refined in French, Austrian and American barriques. The results are wines of exceptional balance, faithful to the character of the grapes.
