When guests are impressed with an offering and want to locate it to purchase for themselves, I keep business cards for myself, but all my off-premise accounts to direct them to- in turn making those accounts happy that I'm making them sales and customers, but generating additional sales for myself there, too. Some are so successful that the guest demand has earned permanent placements on their shelves. All tolled, for a few hours of invested time, I get to eat free and have generated an estimated $5,000 or so in sales. Most importantly- the accounts and customers get to try new things and develop our brand footprint even further!
